Jackson Court Appearance in Death of Nephew Set for Tuesday

Set for Tuesday LOCK HAVEN, PA – Jamie Lynn Jackson, the 36-year-old Lock Haven woman charged with homicide in the death of her nine-year-old nephew a week ago, is scheduled for a Central Court appearance in Clinton County Court Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.

Jackson has been in custody at the Clinton County Correctional Facility in default of bail since her arrest on Dec. 2, two days after authorities found the body of her nephew, Anson Stover, in a bathtub at their E. Bald Eagle Street home.

According to information from Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse, it is possible she will not appear for proceeding unless her attorney requests a bail modification or some other matter with the court. He said Patrick Johnson from the county’s public defender office is her counsel.

The D-A said if the defendant chooses to proceed with a full preliminary hearing, that hearing will not occur Tuesday; rather, it will be scheduled by the Magisterial District Court to occur at a later date based on the Court’s availability and that of the parties.

Strouse said it is his understanding that Jackson’s Tuesday court appearance will occur via POLYCOM/Zoom from the Clinton County Correctional Facility.
