Clinton County Government Holding Coloring Contest and Slogan Contest
LOCK HAVEN – The Clinton County Commissioners announced on Monday that county government will be conducting two contests, as Commissioner Angela Harding said, to bring “a little sunshine” to students from all schools within the county.
The county release announced two categories, one for grades K-4; another for grades 5 through 12.
The first of those is a coloring contest:
We are challenging ALL Clinton County students in grades K-4 to color and create your best art piece of Clinton County.
We want you to capture what makes Clinton County a special place. Using the provided coloring sheet, feel free to add drawings, map features, and anything else you think makes our home unique.
Our coloring contest is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about their county and be creative. During this time of change in our education delivery, Clinton County Government wants to help through this thought provoking and rewarding activity.
Clinton County Government encourages all students to participate and promote active citizenship and pride in our county.
Judging will be based on creativity and originality.
All entries will receive a certificate and one winner from each grade will receive a new Learning Tablet thanks to our contest sponsors C.S. McKee Investment Managers and M&T Bank.
Contest begins on May 1, 2020 and ends on May 22, 2020. Winners will be announced on June 1, 2020, 9:00AM at the regularly scheduled Commissioner’s work session.
All entries must include the student’s name, school, grade, teacher, and parent contact information. Entries may be emailed to color@clintoncountypa.com or mailed to Clinton County Commissioners at the address below.

A slogan or motto is a great way to quickly describe a county’s style or personality.
We want you to capture what makes Clinton County a special place.

Clinton County Government encourages all students to participate and promote active citizenship and pride in our county.
The slogan should be a short (3-8 words) catch phrase that can focus on the people or the place, but represents what makes Clinton County an amazing place.
Judging will be based on creativity, grammar, originality, and spelling.
All entries will receive a certificate and the top three entries will receive a new Chromebook thanks to our contest sponsors C.S. McKee Investment Managers and M&T Bank.
