Water Leak Floods Basement of County Garden Building in Lock Haven
LOCK HAVEN – A Wednesday water leak in downtown Lock Haven has flooded the basements of several buildings on E. Main Street. The break was discovered around noon time and volunteer firemen were pressed into duty, pumping out water from the basement of Clinton County’s Garden Building and the Roxy Theater.
City fire official Bob Neff said the break occurred under a Main Street building near the Garden Building, on a private line. He said the leak had apparently gone undetected for some time. Neff said the city turned off the line servicing that building and other downtown buildings.
There was no immediate word when repairs would be completed and service restored.
