Daylight Savings Time Begins Sunday; Spring Ahead
LOCK HAVEN – The weatherman is providing Clinton County residents spring-like weather as daylight savings time officially begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, the second Sunday of March. Beginning Sunday, we all will get an extra hour of daylight up until Nov. 1 when daylight savings time ends and we will regain the hour of sleep we will be losing overnight tonight after we turn our clocks forward one hour.
Meanwhile the weather has been outstanding of late and Sunday will be a beauty, sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s, this even though spring does not officially begin until March 19.
The weather was so nice Saturday that Lock Haven Citizens Hose Company volunteer Brian Brungard (photo above) was able to get some spring cleaning applied to the fire trucks at the Bellefonte Avenue fire house.
