Little Additional Info in Renovo Death Probe

RENOVO – Authorities have had little to say as they investigate a body found near Renovo’s Flaming Foliage Festival lot on Saturday morning. A state police release later Saturday said only that Troop F – Lamar and Troop F – Forensic Service Unit are “investigating an unattended death of an individual.”

Police had been called to the lot Saturday morning, responding to reports of a body found under and on the Renovo side of the nearby Rosamilia Bridge which carries Route 144 across the Susquehanna River to South Renovo. Sources said the victim was a male,  but there has been no official word as to an identity,

Authorities later did offer an updated report that said foul play is not suspected.  Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse said the investigation is on-going.
