More Street Paving Due in Lock Haven
LOCK HAVEN – As the Route 150/Bellefonte Avenue-Main Street paving project winds down, Lock Haven officials have announced that work will begin on two city-owned streets on Thursday.
City public works director Tony Stopped said Wednesday that contractor Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. will be milling on E. Walnut St. from the railroad tracks to Hanna Street and on W. Bald Eagle St. from Commerce Street to the railroad tracks, the work to be start on Thursday of this week. The State College contractor plans to pave both streets on Monday, Oct. 28.
Parking restrictions will be in place and there will be one-lane traffic at times during the work.
Work on those streets begins as the repaving of state Route 150 in Lock Haven is almost completed. HRI, Inc. of State College is the contractor for the Bellefonte Avenue – E. Main Street improvements.
