Community Foundation Grant Outfits Junior Firefighters

NORTH BEND – The Clinton County Community Foundation has provided financial assistance towards outfitting the Chapman Township Junior Firefighters.

The Junior Firefighters of Chapman Township Volunteer Fire Company #27 this week thanked the foundation for its support, a grant to purchase their rescue gear.

The foundation at its annual meeting in January of this year had approved 48 grants totaling some $220,000 to benefitting agencies. Funding included $3,600 for the Chapman Township rescue gear.
