Clinton County Voting Underway
LOCK HAVEN – Clinton County polls opened at 7 a.m. today and will remain open until 8 p.m., primary municipal election day 2019.
There are currently 20,361 registered voters eligible to participate. Far less are expected to cast their ballots in this non-presidential year. The record-online will provide live coverage from the county’s Piper Building after the polling places close tonight.
The bulk of the registered voters, 9,994 Republicans and 7,755 Democrats, will be able to vote in their respective primaries, as well as the special election to fill the vacant 12th district Congressional seat. For the county’s 2,612 “other” registered voters, they will be eligible only for the special election.
