Central Mountain ‘Powderpuff’ Volleyball Game Set for Nov. 13 to Benefit Gift of Life Foundation

Central Mountain senior, Abigail Weaver is hosting a Boys’ Powderpuff Volleyball game as her senior project on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Central Mountain High School Gymnasium.

This event which is a twist on the traditional girl’s football game fundraiser is open to boys who are members of the current junior and senior classes enrolled at Central Mountain High School. The event will offer the opportunity to showcase their skills in a non-traditional sport. There will be a practice session on Monday from 3:30-5 p.m. for the teams to hone their skills.

The proceeds will go to the Gift of Life Foundation and the concession stand funds will go to the Central Mountain High School yearbook class/club to raise money for a new camera

This event is open for the public and is sure to become a new fan classic. Ticket prices will be $5 for adults and $3 for students.
