2nd Annual Mud Run Slated for June 14
MACKEYVILLE – As part of The Stars and Stripes On The Hill event at the Clinton County Fairgounds, The Kels Lomison Mud Run has taken on a life of its own. Last year’s first running was a rousing success and this year’s event promises to be bigger and better. More obstacles have been added to the course, which has received raves from other Mud Run organizers. Registration begins at 8 AM, with the first group released onto the course at 10 AM. All proceeds from this event will go towards entertainment scheduled to play on the brand new Kels Lomison Memorial Stage built onto the west end of the entertainment pavilion.
To help defray the costs of the development of this first rate event, sponsorships are available. Any sponsor donating $200 or more will b recognized by a sign at one of the obstacles as well as the business name will be printed on shirts that are given to participants.
