Bikers Ride for Lock Haven’s Veterans Park

LOCK HAVEN – More than 40 bikers – many of them veterans — took to the back roads of Clinton County Saturday for a ride to benefit Veterans Park in Lock Haven. Bland J. Rossman VFW Post 1630, with support from local businesses like Woodlands Bank, hosted the event, which also included a breakfast at the VFW in the morning and entertainment by the band The Urge that afternoon.

The riders lined up around 11a. m. Saturday to begin the poker run, which stopped at local VFWs and American Legion halls. The funds raised from this and other events will be used to update and refurbish Veterans Park on E. Water Street, across the street from the Clinton County Courthouse.
