Avis Nittany Minit-Mart Robbed Overnight

AVIS – State police report an overnight robbery at the Avis Nittany Minit-Mart along Route 150 on the west end of the borough.

Their report said an unknown male, holding a broken wooden handle, came in the front door and demanded money from the cash register. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robbery occurred at 2:26 a.m. Friday.

Police described the robber as a male in his 20’s, approximately 5’10”, with a thin build, wearing a Steelers jacket with the hood up, a black and gray scarf wrapped around his face and black socks on his hands.

Anyone with any additional information on the identity of the unknown male is asked to contact state police at the Lamar barracks.
