It was ‘Déjà vu all over again’ for Wildcat Tennis in 3-2 Win over Selinsgrove
SELINSGROVE – Sometimes the passage of a single day can make all the difference, fortunately for the Wildcat tennis team, that wasn’t the case. Yesterday, CM picked up a 3-2 win at home over the Seals, today, the ‘Cats duplicated that outcome on the road.
The two teams met on consecutive days due to the re-scheduling of their first meeting for bad weather.
The Central Mountain lineup changed a bit for todays match, but that didn’t change the outcome for Selinsgrove. The win takes Central Mountain to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in the PHAC.
CM’s Matt Schubach picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win over the Seals Conner Shaffer at No. 1 singles. At No. 2 singles, Wildcat, Raahi Chapla redeemed his loss to William Bailey on Tuesday with a 7-6, 6-1 victory today. Selinsgrove’s Nick Thompson defeated Central Mountain’s Tyler Cygan, 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
