Different Rules for GT?
To the Editor:
Congressman Glenn Thompson is in favor of big money in politics. In June he voted to restrict the IRS from making available to the public who the donors were to nonprofit organizations. These groups pay no taxes, so why shouldn’t we the taxpayers know who supports them? He also voted to keep secret political contributions made by corporations. So why does he support different rules for the rest of us? We who go to work every day and support our families and communities deserve the same rules as those who have deep pockets. We deserve fair representation. Will his opponent in the November 8th election treat us with respect? Check out Kerith Strano Taylor at www.kstforcongress.com and see for yourself.
