LOCK HAVEN — This is moving week for the office of Lock Haven area District Judge Joe Sanders III.

The county has announced that Sanders’ office in the rear of the county’s Garden Building adjacent to Jay St. will be closed this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It will reopen Monday, Jan. 18 in its new quarters’ the county-owned Frederick Street Building in Flemington. A county maintenance crew spent the latter portion of last year renovating a section of the old Flemington School for its new occupants.

The DJ switch to Flemington is part of a two-pronged county alteration. Once Sanders’ office vacates the Garden Building the county maintenance staff will renovate that section of the Garden Building to serve as the new location for Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse. The DA’s office presently is located in a sub-first floor rental suite on E. Water Street.
