Old Nurses Building Coming Down

LOCK HAVEN – In early years it was the nurses home adjacent to the old Lock Haven Hospital on Susquehanna Avenue. In subsequent years the brick structure served as a courthouse annex for Clinton County and more recently provided office space for Lock Haven University. This week the building is being leveled. A university spokesman said short term plans are for the site to serve as a storage area.
