Your Library Needs Your Help
Dear Library Patrons,
The Renovo Area Public Library has been providing services to the residents of Potter and Western Clinton County for over four decades. Over that span of time, thousands of pre-schoolers, young people and adults have taken advantage of the programs and activities sponsored by this community institution. In addition, the library has lent thousands of books, magazines, large print books, CD’s and videos to individuals, who were interested in broadening their knowledge of the world.
These services have been supplemented by the installation of up-to-date computers to enable both, young and old, to connect to the internet to research topics and information, print articles and/or photographs, as well as, gain proficiency in using these modern marvels of technology.
The library is always available for use by community groups and organizations and the Library Board encourages everyone to utilize the facility. Over the past few years, the Board authorized numerous renovations to accommodate its patrons and make the library a more pleasant environment where learning and comfort are paramount.
To continue to provide the best services to the community, your LIBRARY needs your help. Without your financial support, our programs and services would be diminished or eliminated. It is important that everyone, individuals, groups, organizations and local municipalities contribute to this vital educational entity.
Members of the Renovo Area Library Board volunteer their time and are dedicated to keeping the library open. But expenses keep escalating and it is becoming difficult to pay the costs for operating the facility so any contribution you make would be greatly appreciated.
To assure your contribution stays in Renovo, please make your checks or money orders payable to the Renovo Area Public Library and designate on the memo line how the contribution is to be spent. (Some examples: books, magazines, programming, building maintenance, fire, liability or flood insurance, telephone or internet service.)
If you have any questions about our library services and programs or concerns related to making contributions, please feel free to contact our librarian or a member of the Board.
Sincerely yours,
Charles T. Barnum, President
Renovo Area Library Board
