MILL HALL – The Central Mountain boys’ soccer team earned a convincing 3-0 victory over Penns Valley at home on Saturday.

Kullen McDermit put the Wildcats on the board in the 14th minute, finishing a pass from Tim Brinker. Central Mountain added to the lead early in the second half when pressure in the box forced an own goal by Penns Valley. Just four minutes later, Mycah Carson struck unassisted to extend the advantage to 3-0, which stood as the final score.

The win improved Central Mountain’s record to 2-1 on the season.

Next up, the Wildcats will host Northumberland Christian on Thursday.
