LHU Field Hockey opens season at No. 11 Syracuse

SYRACUSE– The Lock Haven field hockey team opened its 2025 season by visiting No. 11 Syracuse for a non-conference game on Friday night (Aug. 29). The nationally-ranked Orange took the contest 15-0.

The Bald Eagles move to 0-1 on the young season and The Orange improve to 1-0.

Kelsey Felix made 11 saves in cage for the Bald Eagles. Molly Lynch recorded a shot on offense.

Bo Van Kemp led Syracuse with six goals.

The Bald Eagles return to action on Sunday afternoon (11 a.m.) when they Colgate for a non-conference game.
