Majorettes at Nationals
Six of the CM Majorettes spent last week in South Bend, IN at the University of Notre Dame competing at the 2025 AYOP USA Twirling Championships. This event has thousands of baton twirling participants from around the country and Canada.
They all competed in individual and small group events throughout the week with all of them coming home with hardware from their top ten finishes. Two of students placed first in their respective divisions and age classifications. Students include: Claire Walker, Jessa Darby, Alyssa Ford, Vayda Schenck, Arrayah Haagen and Kylee Markle.
Coach Stephanie Ford Said, “Not only did these ladies participate in an amazing and successful baton twirling competition, they also established new connections and friendships with fellow twirlers from around the country, toured and experienced the historical culture around campus.”
