Hit and Run

CASTANEA TOWNSHIP— A crash occurred on US-220 South near mile marker 113 in Castanea Township on May 5, 2025, when Lamont Cradle, 38, of Williamsport, failed to remain in his lane of travel and struck a concrete bridge barrier. Following the initial impact, Cradle’s Jeep Compass continued in a western direction for an unspecified distance before coming to a final stop along the left shoulder facing west.

 

Harassment

LOGAN TOWNSHIP— On May 5, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., PSP Lamar was dispatched to Campground Road for a report of a disturbance. Through investigation, it was determined that a physical altercation occurred between two known males— ages 52 and 21, both from Loganton. Charges will be filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02 as a result of the incident.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP— A crash occurred just west of 352 Bald Eagle Mountain Road on May 4, 2025. An unnamed driver was traveling west on Bald Eagle Mountain Road when the vehicle veered off the north side of the highway. The vehicle traveled down an embankment and struck a concrete culvert head-on. It then rotated onto its side and came to a stop partially on the railroad tracks. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. 

 

Drug Possession

WAYNE TOWNSHIP— On May 3, 2025, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Connie Bunnell, 60, of York, PA, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia in the Clinton County Correctional Facility. Bunnell was charged with a violation of PA 18.5123(a.2), possessing controlled substances or contraband in a correctional institution, prison, jail, or detention facility. 

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On May 3, 2025, at approximately 12:45 p.m., Justin Blachek, 36, of Lock Haven, was operating a 2001 Ford Focus while traveling on SR-150 North (High Street). Blachek did not see that two vehicles driven by Ashleigh Neff, 31, and Chelsea Eggler, 31, both from Lock Haven, had stopped in the lane of traffic due to another vehicle pulling into an alley off of High Street. Blachek rear-ended Neff, which pushed her vehicle into the rear end of Eggler’s vehicle. No injuries were reported, and Blachek’s vehicle sustained disabling damage as a result of this crash. 

 

Receiving Stolen Property – Warrant w/Arrest 

PORTER TOWNSHIP— On May 3, 2025, at approximately 5:32 p.m., Trooper Hall stopped a gold Toyota Corolla at mile marker 172.3 on I-80 East after observing traffic violations. It was discovered that the license plate on the vehicle was fraudulent, and the driver, Terry Fletcher, 58, of  Jacksonville, FL, was unable to provide any legitimate documentation for the vehicle. After further investigation, it was discovered that the operator had an extraditable warrant out of New Jersey, and the vehicle was stolen from Saint Louis, MO. The operator was transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility, and charges have been filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.

 

DUI Crash 

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On May 2, 2025, at approximately 11:42 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to the parking lot of Ruby Tuesday’s in Mill Hall for a report of an intoxicated driver who was involved in a crash and attempting to flee the scene. PSP located the vehicle on Country Club Lane heading towards SR-220 in the wrong lane of travel. Troopers stopped the vehicle, and the driver, Connie Bunnell, 60, of York, PA, was arrested for DUI.

 

Commercial Burglary 

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On May 2, 2025, at 3:23 a.m., PSP Lamar troopers responded to Best Auto Service Center located at 555 High Street for a reported burglary. This investigation remains open, and anyone with any information relating to this incident is asked to contact PA State Police at the Lamar Barracks by calling 570-726-6000. 

 

Harassment w/Physical Contact

SOUTH RENOVO BOROUGH— On May 1, 2025, at 2:51 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Pennsylvania Avenue for a report of Harassment involving a minor child. PSP is continuing their investigation into the matter.  

 

DUI Crash  

BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP— On May 1, 2025, at 12:38 a.m., PSP responded to a crash at the intersection of Eagle Valley Road and Windy Lane. The crash caused damage to property, and upon Troopers’ investigation, it was discovered that the driver, identified as a 30-year-old male from Lock Haven, was allegedly operating the vehicle while under the influence. This investigation remains open pending toxicology results. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP— A crash occurred near the residences at 782 and 796 Eagle Valley Road on May 1, 2025. Colton Neff, 30, of Lock Haven, was traveling north on Eagle Valley Road when he veered off the south side of the roadway near Windy Lane. Neff continued north and struck a concrete wall at 782 Eagle Valley Road. After the initial impact, he continued in the same direction, striking two mailboxes and crossing over the driveway at 782/796 Eagle Valley Road before hitting shrubs and trees head-on. Neff then continued north for a short distance before hitting a utility pole. Following this fourth impact, his Jeep Wrangler rotated clockwise for an undetermined distance before coming to a final stop, facing south along the south side of Eagle Valley Road. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. 

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

GREENE TOWNSHIP— William Smith Jr., 19, of Loganton, was traveling west on Long Run Road (SR-477) at 45 mph on April 30, 2025, when he observed a downed telephone pole blocking the westbound lane. In an attempt to avoid the obstruction, he steered into the eastbound lane before attempting to return to the westbound lane. When he attempted to return to his lane of travel, he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway via the shoulder, and struck a tree approximately five yards south of SR-477. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

 

Commercial Vehicle Accident   

LAMAR TOWNSHIP— A crash occurred on I-80 East at mile marker 180.9 on April 29, 2025, at approximately 7:12 a.m. Montasar Arabu, 44, of Sterling Heights, MI, was traveling eastbound in a Freightliner semi-truck in the middle lane when he failed to notice another Freightliner semi-truck up ahead, being driven by Mark St. John, 59, of Pocono Summit, at 65 mph. Arabu was unable to stop in time and rear-ended St. John’s semi-truck. Following the collision, Arabu’s truck exited its lane and came to a stop on the side of the roadway, blocking both the right and center lanes. St. John’s truck veered off the north side of the roadway, rolled onto its passenger side, and came to a final stop off the roadway. Arabu sustained minor injuries and was transported to UPMC Lock Haven Hospital for evaluation. St. John reported no injuries. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

GREENE TOWNSHIP— On April 27, 2025, a crash occurred on I-80 East at mile marker 188. Zhongzhi Sun, (M), 33, of Brooklyn, NY, was traveling in the left lane in a Chrysler Pacifica when the passenger side mirror was struck by the handlebars of a motorcycle, which is believed to have been traveling at a high rate of speed. The motorcyclist fled the scene without stopping to provide information. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

 

Harassment w/Physical Contact

LOGAN TOWNSHIP— The PA State Police in Lamar responded to Summer Mountain Road to investigate a report of Harassment involving a minor on April 26, 2025. The investigation revealed that the claims were unfounded, and no further action was taken.

 

Found Property

PORTER TOWNSHIP— On April 26, 2025, at 11:12 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to 346 Furnace Road for a report of property that was found. Through investigation, it was determined that a wallet had been found and was promptly returned to its rightful owner.

 

Criminal Mischief 

LOGAN TOWNSHIP— On April 24, 2025, at approximately 3:44 p.m., a resident of Narrows Road contacted PSP Lamar regarding her neighbor, who was mowing an area of the yard between the properties. The known individual allegedly cut a wire fence separating the property that had been previously surveyed. No further information was provided in the report about this incident. 

 

Firearm Not to Possess 

ALLISON TOWNSHIP— On April 23, 2025, at 12:18 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to 1382 Lusk Run Road to assist the Clinton County Probation Department. Upon arrival, Troopers discovered that a firearms violation had occurred. Appropriate charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02 as a result of the violation.

 

Hit and Run 

SOUTH RENOVO BOROUGH— A crash occurred in front of the residence at 529 1st Street in South Renovo Borough on April 21, 2025. Alberta Johnson, 75, of Renovo, was attempting to back into a parking stall at the residence when she reportedly struck the front of a legally parked, unoccupied Chevrolet Silverado. Johnson then left her vehicle parked against the unoccupied vehicle before going inside her residence. Both vehicles sustained minor damage, but no towing was required.

 

Theft of Motor Vehicle

RENOVO BOROUGH— A dark blue/black 2012 Infiniti G37 with PA registration “LWD-4214” was reported stolen from 2218 Delaware Avenue in Renovo sometime between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on April 20, 2025. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the PA State Police at the Lamar Barracks by calling 570-726-6000 and referencing “Incident PA 2025-479071.”

 

Hindering Apprehension

BEECH CREEK BOROUGH— On April 18, 2025, at approximately 12:35 a.m., PSP Lamar conducted a traffic stop on Tiffany Spotts for a traffic violation on Main Street in Beech Creek. During the stop, a wanted male, Robert Confer Jr., fled the scene on foot but was apprehended a short distance away. Multiple controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were found and seized.

 

Drug Possession

BEECH CREEK BOROUGH— On April 18, 2025, at 12:37 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted in the vicinity of 42 Main Street. During the stop, a passenger fled from the vehicle but was apprehended shortly afterward. The individual was allegedly found to be in possession of suspected controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. No further information was included in the report issued by PSP Lamar, as the case remains open pending further investigation.

 

Criminal Trespass

GRUGAN TOWNSHIP— On April 18, 2025, at 3:30 p.m., PSP Lamar investigated a Trespassing incident that occurred somewhere along Hyner River Road. This investigation is ongoing.

 

Theft of Lost/Mislaid Property

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On April 18, 2025, at 10:22 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to a reported theft at Walmart in Mill Hall. A 69-year-old male from Flemington forgot to collect his $40.00 in change from the self-checkout machine, which was then taken by an unidentified suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

 

Commercial Vehicle Accident

GREENE TOWNSHIP— On April 18, 2025, an accident involving a commercial vehicle occurred at 1057 W. Valley Road when Marshall Bury, 43, of Mount Joy, PA, was exiting a driveway in a 2018 Peterbilt semi-truck. As Bury was turning left onto W. Valley Road, he struck utility lines with the semi truck’s boom (extendable lifting arm), which was extended upward. Bury stopped and lowered the boom before he left the scene. No further information was included in PSP’s incident report.

 

Theft/Crime by Deception

CRAWFORD TOWNSHIP— On April 17, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Herman Road

for a report of credit cards being opened in a 40-year-old Loganton woman’s name, which ultimately affected her credit score. This investigation remains open.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident 

COLEBROOK TOWNSHIP— On April 16, 2025, a two-vehicle crash occurred on SR-120 (Renovo Road) near Notre Dame Lane. Both vehicles, operated by Matthew Summerson, 55, of South Williamsport, and Tobias Walk, 43, of Jersey Shore, were traveling east at approximately 50-55 mph. Walk, who was driving a Freightliner M2, began turning left into a residence to deliver oil. Summerson did not see a turn signal and believed Walk was allowing him to pass, so he attempted to do so on the left. As Summerson was passing, Walk turned into the driveway, causing Summerson’s Ford F550 to become trapped between the Freightliner and a rock wall. The Ford F550 sustained disabling damage to its front end, while the Freightliner sustained minor cosmetic damage to the driver’s side and a flat tire. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. 

 

Disorderly Conduct

RENOVO BOROUGH— On April 16, 2025, at approximately 12:50 p.m., PSP Lamar investigated a Disorderly Conduct incident that occurred in the area of 9th Street. Appropriate charges were filed against an 82-year-old male from Renovo through Magisterial District Court 25-3-03.

 

Terroristic Threats

ALLISON TOWNSHIP— On April 15, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., PSP Lamar received a report of Terroristic Threats made against two adults and four minors, all from Mill Hall. PSP is continuing to investigate the matter. 

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

LOGAN TOWNSHIP— On April 8, 2025, Reuben Wetzel, 86, of Loganton, was traveling west on Narrows Road in a Dodge RAM Pickup. Wetzel stated that he “has no idea, but he must have fell asleep,”  according to the report issued by PSP. As a result, his vehicle left the roadway, struck a telephone pole, and then struck a GMC Sierra that was parked in its owner’s yard. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage, but no injuries were reported. According to the report, Wetzel will be cited for multiple traffic violations related to this incident.

 

Criminal Mischief

RENOVO BOROUGH— On March 31, 2025, the Renovo Borough Fire Department reported that overnight, an unknown actor(s) had kicked a door at the fire company in an attempt to make entry into the building. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call PA State Police at 570-726-6000.

 

Theft from Vehicle

MILL HALL BOROUGH— On March 29, 2025, at 6:15 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to 3rd Street for multiple reports of theft from motor vehicles. A few of the many items that were stolen from the vehicles included a social security card, cash, multiple credit cards, wallets, Apple AirPods, and checkbooks. This investigation is ongoing, and anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call PA State Police at 570-726-6000.

 

Theft

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH— On March 26, 2025, at 8:13 a.m., PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to 421 Canal Street for a report of stolen tools. In total, $5,735.00 worth of tools were stolen. This investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call PA State Police at 570-726-6000.

 

Theft by Deception/Welfare Fraud

BEECH CREEK BOROUGH— On March 7, 2025, it was reported that the identity of a 70-year-old woman from Beech Creek was used to claim and file an income tax return. This case is still under investigation.

 

Harassment w/Physical Contact

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP— On March 4, 2025, PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to a domestic dispute on Greigo Drive. Through investigation, it was determined that a 16-year-old male from Lock Haven shoved and then punched an adult victim. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-01.

 

Hit and Run

GREENE TOWNSHIP—On February 17, 2025, an accident occurred on I-80 West near mile marker 183.5 involving Charles Morris III, 56, of Bangor, PA, and another unidentified driver. Morris was traveling in the left passing lane behind another vehicle that was covered in ice. A large piece of ice dislodged from the unidentified vehicle and struck Morris’s windshield, causing it to crack. The ice-covered vehicle continued westbound on I-80 without stopping to exchange information. Although Morris’s vehicle was driveable, it was towed from the scene by Bressler’s Towing due to limited visibility from the cracked windshield. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On February 13, 2025, PSP Lamar was dispatched to Long Run Road for a report of a domestic dispute. A 53-year-old male from Mill Hall was subsequently charged with Harassment through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02. 

 

Harassment

LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On February 12, 2025, PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Long Run Road for a

report of a domestic dispute. Upon Troopers’ arrival, the victim reported an additional incident that occurred the night before involving a knife. PSP Troopers took a 53-year-old man from Mill Hall into custody as a result of the incident and transported him to the Clinton County Correctional Facility on charges of Simple Assault. 

 

Retail Theft/Shoplifting

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 25, 2025, PSP Lamar received a report of theft from Lowe’s in Mill Hall. Investigation revealed that an unknown male had been observed as he placed items in a cart and, at the self-checkout, failed to scan several of them. Troopers later identified the suspect as Tommy Smith, 36, of Campbell, NY. Charges of Retail Theft, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Receiving Stolen Property were filed against Smith through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02.

 

Retail Theft/Shoplifting

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 25, 2025, PSP Lamar received a report of retail theft. Further investigation revealed that an unknown female was observed in the store placing animal food items in a cart. Once the cart was full, she walked out of the store without paying for any of the items. Troopers later identified the suspect as Karla Elliott, 54, of Bedford, and charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 25-3-02 for Retail Theft, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Receiving Stolen Property.
