Third Arrest Made In Hoberman Park Attack On Pregnant Woman

LOCK HAVEN— A third individual was charged on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, with offenses of Aggravated Assault of an Unborn Child (F1), Aggravated Assault (F1), Simple Assault (M2), and Conspiracy counts of all 3 charges. The charges were filed by Written Allegation in the Clinton County Juvenile Division against a 16-year-old female juvenile by Detective Rich Simpson of the Lock Haven City Police.

These charges are the latest in the ongoing police investigation involving an alleged attack on a 19-year-old pregnant woman at the playground area of Hoberman Park in the City of Lock Haven last week.  Police had previously charged 21-year-old Hailey Gillott, of East Bald Eagle Street in Lock Haven, and another female juvenile, 15, with charges of Aggravated Assault of an Unborn Child, Aggravated Assault, and Simple Assault.

As part of the ongoing investigation, Police allege that they were able to obtain additional cell phone evidence that shows that the third individual charged had conspired and helped to orchestrate the attack and then recorded the attack on her cell phone.

The 19-year-old victim and her unborn child required medical treatment as a result of the attack. The Office of District Attorney of Clinton County and the Director of Victim Services remain in contact with the victim and continue to monitor the health of both the expectant mother and her unborn child, who survived the attack.

Gillott appeared in Court on Monday and waived her preliminary hearing on the charges. She is scheduled for Formal Arraignment in May and remains incarcerated in lieu of $100,000 bail.

NOTE: Pursuant to Pennsylvania Law, the disclosure of the names and identities of the juveniles charged is prohibited. The previous release on this investigation can be found here:
