Police Blotter January 17, 2025: Renovo Police Department News 

Three Vehicle Crash 

CHAPMAN TOWNSHIP— On January 16, 2025, the Renovo Police Department responded to a three-vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 3:53 p.m. on the Renovo Road (SR-120) at the Hyner River Bridge, just east of Huff Run Road. Andrew M. Wolfe, 30, from Avis, was driving a 2019 Subaru WRX south/eastbound when he lost control of the vehicle due to snowy conditions. He collided with two vehicles traveling north/westbound— a 2005 Saturn Ion driven by Erica Holmes, 46, from Renovo, and a 2019 Subaru Impreza driven by Jeremy Wood, 46, from Bellefonte. Both Holmes and Wood’s vehicles were struck on the driver’s side and became disabled after Wood’s car also hit the bridge rail. No injuries were reported, however all three vehicles were towed away by Martin Motors. The Chapman Township Fire Company and Renovo Fire Department provided assistance at the scene. Wolfe was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

DUI Crash

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 11, 2025, at approximately 1:35 p.m., a two-vehicle crash occurred on Pennsylvania Avenue at its intersection with Hogan Boulevard when Michael Peck, 30, from Mill Hall, allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed, rear-ended another driver in a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu. The Chevrolet Malibu was properly stopped at a red light intersection at the time of the crash. Peck was charged with DUI in addition to several other charges after admitting to the illegal use of controlled substances prior to operating his vehicle, according to the report. Peck was not injured in the crash, but the unnamed driver of the Chevrolet Malibu reported minor injuries. 

 

PFA Violation

SOUTH RENOVO BOROUGH— On January 11, 2025, at approximately 11:36 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers responded to South Renovo for a reported PFA violation. Upon investigation, it was learned that both parties involved, Tasha Lowery, 39, from Renovo, and Joshua Smith, 44, from Lock Haven, were in violation of the PFA order. Both parties were taken into custody and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility. 

 

Motor Vehicle Accident 

LEIDY TOWNSHIP— On January 11, 2025, at 8:14 a.m., an accident occurred involving Daniel Lindgren, 36, from Crossfork. While driving south on Stewart Hill Road in a 2015 Subaru Impreza, Lindgren attempted to negotiate a left-hand curve when the vehicle started to slide. The vehicle veered off the road on the west side, continuing about 10 feet before hitting a concrete barrier. The vehicle came to a final stop facing south. No injuries were reported from the crash.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident

CASTANEA TOWNSHIP— On January 11, 2025, a crash occurred on SR-220 North near mile marker 111.1. Brynn Conklin, 26, from Morrisdale, PA, was driving a 2014 Mazda CX9 at approximately 70 mph on a wet roadway when she lost control of the vehicle. The car veered off the east side of the road, collided with a guide rail on the passenger side, re-entered the roadway, crossed both northbound lanes, and hit the guide rail on the west side, where it came to a final stop. Conklin was not injured in the crash. However, the vehicle sustained disabling damage to its front, driver’s side, and passenger side and was towed from the scene.

 

Motor Vehicle Accident 

PORTER TOWNSHIP— On January 11, 2025, at approximately 4:05 a.m., a crash occurred on I-80 West near mile marker 170.8, involving Amylee Velez, 19, from Newark, NJ. While driving a 2017 Toyota Corolla in the right lane, Velez lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered road. The car spun counterclockwise and hit the guide rail head-on along the left shoulder, resulting in disabling damage. The vehicle came to a stop in the left travel lane, facing east. Velez was wearing her seatbelt and was not injured in the crash.

 

Disorderly Conduct 

RENOVO BOROUGH— On January 10, 2025, at approximately 2:57 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to 626 Huron Avenue for a report of a male kicking the residence’s front door. Jeremiah Wilson, 41, from Renovo, was identified and received non-traffic citations filed through District Court 25-3-03 as a result of the incident. 

 

Harassment w/Physical Contact 

LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On January 10, 2025, PSP Lamar responded to an incident on Long Run Road where a verbal altercation between two parties escalated to physical contact. Following the investigation, a citation for harassment was filed through District Court 25-3-02 against a 36-year-old woman from Mill Hall who was involved in the incident.

 

Found Property/Drugs

CASTANEA TOWNSHIP— On January 10, 2025, at approximately 2:57 p.m., a pink Nike backpack was found near the residence of 910 Youngdale Road. The owner of the backpack is known, according to the report, and the backpack is still in police custody at this time. 

 

Hit and Run

DUNNSTABLE TOWNSHIP— On January 10, 2025, a crash occurred when an unnamed driver was traveling north in the 600 block of Little Plum Run Road and veered off the side of the roadway before striking an embankment. The 2005 Ford F250 the driver was operating sustained disabling damage but was removed from the crash site and located a short distance off the roadway. The driver fled the scene prior to police arrival. No further information was included in the report issued by PSP Lamar. 

 

Commercial Vehicle Accident

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH—On January 10, 2025, at approximately 9:26 p.m., a three-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of High Street and Huston Street. Garry Hartman, 68, from Stillwater, PA, and Robert Lanning Jr., 60, from Shickshinny, PA, were both traveling south and stopped at the intersection for a red traffic light. Hartman was driving a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, while Lanning was operating a 2023 Thomas Built Bus. Behind them, Michael Frank, 29, from Mill Hall, was also heading south at about 35 mph. Frank accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake, causing him to rear-end Hartman’s Jeep. The impact pushed Hartman’s Jeep into the back of Lanning’s bus. Minor injuries were reported, and Hartman’s Jeep required towing from the scene. 

 

Commercial Burglary

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On January 9, 2025, between 1:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., unknown actor(s) broke into The Kar Lot located at 131 Hogan Boulevard. Once inside, the actor(s) took a safe containing approximately $3,000.00 and fled the scene. Motor Vehicle Accident

MILL HALL BOROUGH— On January 9, 2025, a crash occurred on North Water Street (SR-64) just south of its intersection with No Exit Lane in Mill Hall Borough. The incident involved three drivers: Kile Horner, 31, from Mill Hall; Avery Reese, 24, from Lock Haven; and an unnamed driver of a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The unidentified driver was stopped in a line of traffic waiting for the light at the SR-150 intersection, with Horner and Reese behind them. Horner rear-ended the stopped Nissan Rogue, which caused Reese to subsequently rear-end Horner’s 2013 Toyota Camry. Passengers in the Nissan Rogue reported possible injuries and were evaluated by EMS personnel at the scene. Despite the collision, all vehicles were able to be driven away from the scene.

 

Commercial Vehicle Accident 

PORTER TOWNSHIP— On January 8, 2025, at approximately 7:15 p.m., a two-vehicle hit-and-run incident took place on I-80 West near mile marker 175.0. David Delzeith, 48, from Coldwater, OH, was driving in the left lane, passing an unidentified driver in a Volvo. As Delzeith passed, the Volvo veered out of its lane and struck the passenger-side mirror of Delzeith’s 2023 Volvo 760. Delzeith pulled over at exit 173 while the other driver continued westbound on I-80. No injuries were reported, and there was no visible damage to Delzeith’s vehicle.

 

Haraassment w/Physical Contact 

LOGAN TOWNSHIP— On January 8, 2025, at 6:26 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Snook Lane for a report of a fight in progress. A 42-year-old male from Loganton, a 17-year-old female from Logan Township, and a 17-year-old female from Loganton were charged with harassment through District Court 25-3-02 as a result of the incident.
