Generous Donation Supports Renovo’s Recreation Center

RENOVO – The Western Clinton County Recreation Authority (WCCRA) received a remarkable boost on Monday through a generous $1,500 donation from Renovo Mayor Gene Bruno and Tracy Bruno’s Salon. The donation was presented by Tracy to De Anna Poorman, director of the center.

“We are fortunate to have a resource in the community for all levels of fitness,” said Tracy Bruno. “Fitness has always been a central part of Gene’s and my life—Gene as a health and physical education teacher and coach, and me as a business owner and entrepreneur. Investing in the Renovo community is our top priority.”

The WCCRA provides a variety of services, including a fitness room, weight room, pool, gymnasium, and Pickleball, as well as Fun Time-Free Time activities for school-age children. The gym and pool are also available for party and event rentals.

Operating hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The center relies on grants, donations, fundraisers, and events to remain self-sustaining, making every contribution invaluable to the community.
