Lock Haven Police Department News Release November 18, 2024:

Incidents:
Crash – On November 8, 2024, at approximately 12:00 p.m., there was a three-vehicle crash in the 10 block of E. Main Street. Unit 1 came around the corner from N. Vesper Street and struck Unit 2, which was pulling out of a parking space. Unit 2 was pushed into Unit 3, which was legally parked. All vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.

Crash – On November 10, 2024, at approximately 3:00 p.m., there was a single-vehicle crash in the 200 block of W. Main Street when a driver lost control of their vehicle due to wet roads and the condition of the tires on the vehicle. The vehicle struck a tree and had to be towed from the scene.

Theft – On November 12, 2024, between 7:12 p.m. and 7:22 p.m., an e-bike was stolen from outside of a residence in the 10 block of Williamson Heights.

Crash – On November 13, 2024, at approximately 8:40 a.m., there was a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Bellefonte Avenue and N. Fairview Street. Unit 1 was on N. Fairview Street and turning left onto Bellefonte Avenue. Unit 2 was traveling westbound on Bellefonte Avenue and was struck by Unit 1. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.

Crash – On November 13, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., there was a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Jordan’s Alley and Brick Alley. Unit 1 was traveling north on Brick Alley, and Unit 2 was traveling west on Jordan’s Alley when Unit 1 hit Unit 2. Unit 2 was towed from the scene.

Offenses Charged:
Michel Keeler, 45, Lock Haven, was arrested for Open Lewdness. On October 8, 2024, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Keeler defecated in public while at Hoberman Park.

Ashley Ruggiers, 38, Lock Haven, was cited with Criminal Trespass. On November 4, 2024, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Ruggiers entered the dumpster area of the Goodwill Store, 120 E. Walnut St, which is posted with “No Trespassing” signs.

Aden Eggler, 23, Lock Haven, was cited with Disorderly Conduct. On November 12, 2024, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Eggler was yelling profanities while outside of a residence in the 400 block of E. Water Street. Eggler was allegedly yelling loud enough that it causes neighbors to exit their residences.

Renovo Police Department News:
Renovo Police have charged 31-year-old Mariah Morocko with Theft and Criminal Trespass offenses stemming from an incident that occurred between November 13, 2024, and November 14, 2024. Morocko was on the property of the Goodwill store, 112 3rd Street in Renovo, after hours and stole property after being told not to be there by both store management and police. Morocko has been charged by summons through District Court 25-3-03.

PA State Police News Release November 18, 2024:

Harassment w/Physical Contact
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On November 16, 2024, at 3:53 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to 42 Fairway View Drive for a report of harassment. Upon arrival, Troopers discovered that a physical altercation had occurred, and charges were filed against Jayme Bennerm, 38, of Lock Haven, through District Court 25-3-02.

Harassment w/Physical Contact
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On November 16, 2024, PSP Lamar was dispatched to Sugar Run Road for a report of a known female juvenile causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the property. Through investigation, it was determined that the 16-year-old juvenile from Howard struck a 49-year-old female victim during an altercation. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

Harassment w/Physical Contact
FLEMINGTON— On November 13, 2024, at 11:54 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Woods Avenue for a report of harassment involving a 30-year-old female and a 25-year-old male victim, both of Lock Haven. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-01.

Hit and Run
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On November 13, 2024, a hit-and-run incident took place involving a parked 2022 Freightliner Cascadia at the Flying J parking lot located at 5609 Nittany Valley Drive. While the Freightliner was parked, an unidentified driver hit the passenger side mirror as they exited a parking space, causing minor damage. The driver then left the scene, traveling in an unknown direction.

Motor Vehicle Accident
LAMAR— A crash occurred on I-80 East at mile marker 176.8 on November 13, 2024, when Marisa Barr, 46, from Staten Island, was traveling in the left lane, and two deer entered the roadway. Barr struck one of the deer head-on, causing disabling damage to her vehicle, which had to be towed from the scene. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

Harassment w/Physical Contact
RENOVO— On November 13, 2024, at approximately 12:42 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to 2245 Schuylkill Avenue for a report of a physical dispute. During their investigation, Troopers found that a juvenile male pushed a 37-year-old female victim from Renovo. A non-traffic citation was filed for harassment as a result of the incident.

Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On November 12, 2024, at 3:38 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to Walmart in Mill Hall for a reported retail theft. Upon arrival, Troopers discovered that Jacob Torres, 20, from Jackson, NJ, was observed under-scanning items at the checkout. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-01.

Drug Possession
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On November 9, 2024, at 12:35 p.m., PSP Lamar investigated a case involving a 34-year-old male from Lock Haven for possession of a controlled substance. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

Theft of Lost/Mislaid Property
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On September 25, 2024, at around 7:07 p.m., a 54-year-old woman from North Bend withdrew $1,000 in cash using her debit card at Walmart in Mill Hall. During the transaction, she allegedly left behind $500. Initially, it was believed that the money had been taken, but it was later discovered that the victim had misplaced it.

Rape
MILL HALL— According to a PSP Lamar report, Troopers investigated a sexual assault that occurred on Danis Street in Mill Hall on September 20, 2024. No further information was provided in the report.

Motor Vehicle Accident
GREENE TOWNSHIP— On September 13, 2024, Nathan Diggs, 20, from Lewisburg, was driving in the left travel lane of Interstate 80 near Mile Marker 186.0. Meanwhile, an unidentified vehicle (referred to as Unit 2) was in the right lane at the same location. The collision occurred when Diggs’ vehicle, a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche (referred to as Unit 1), hit the vehicle being towed by Diggs head-on. This caused Diggs to lose control of his vehicle, veer off the north shoulder of Interstate 80, and strike a guide rail. He then continued about 15 yards east before bringing the vehicle to a controlled stop. Unit 2 did not stop and continued traveling east on Interstate 80. No injuries were reported.

Retail theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On September 4, 2024, Teisa Meixel, 29, from Jersey Shore, attempted to steal multiple items by under-ringing them at the self-checkout, according to the report issued by PSP Lamar. Walmart personnel attempted to stop the woman as she was exiting the store, but she provided a false name and left before PSP arrived. Through further investigation, Teisa Meixel was identified and cited with one count of summary retail theft through District Court 25-3-02.

Commercial Burglary
FLEMINGTON— On August 30, 2024, at approximately 1:57 a.m., an improper code was entered into the locked door at 87 Allison Street. The building was broken into, and multiple items were damaged before the actor fled the scene. This case is still under investigation.

Theft/Crime by Deception
BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP— PSP Lamar received a report of a home improvement scam that occurred sometime between July 29 and August 5, 2024, in which a 65-year-old male victim paid $5,000 to a private contractor to perform a job at a residence on Haagan Lane. According to the victim, the work that was agreed upon was not properly completed. This investigation is still underway.
