Truckers 4 Hope: A Weekend of Trucks, Fun, and Community Support

From Staff Reports

MACKEYVILLE -Truckers 4 Hope is gearing up for its 2024 event—a three-day, action-packed semi-truck show held from September 27 to 29 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania. This family-friendly weekend brings together truck enthusiasts and the local community to enjoy a variety of exciting activities, all in support of a crucial cause: Cystic Fibrosis (CF) research and the organization Hope 4 Hayze.

Supporting a Critical Cause: Cystic Fibrosis Research

Truckers 4 Hope benefits Cystic Fibrosis research, a disease that affects the lungs and digestive systems of approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. CF is a life-threatening genetic condition, and many Americans are unaware that they are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene, putting them at higher risk of having a child with the disease.

When the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was first established in 1955, life expectancy for children with CF was grim, with many not expected to live long enough to attend elementary school. However, thanks to advancements in research and care, individuals with CF today are living well into their 30s, 40s, and beyond.

Trucks, Shows, and More: What to Expect at Truckers 4 Hope

One of the highlights of the event is the truck show itself, featuring over 300 trucks from across the United States. These impressive vehicles have earned Truckers 4 Hope recognition in major trucking publications such as Overdrive Magazine, Largecar Mag, Gear Jammer Magazine, and Movin’ Out. Unlike other truck shows, this event isn’t judged—it’s all about community, supporting a cause, and having fun with family and friends in the trucking industry.
