Michael LeBlanc named Lock Haven’s head women’s tennis coach
LOCK HAVEN – Michael LeBlanc has been named Lock Haven’s new head women’s tennis coach.
“We are looking forward to Michael leading the women’s tennis program at Lock Haven,” said Stephen Lee, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Lock Haven Campus Administrator. “His recent ties to the local tennis community will benefit the program and we look forward to watching the team grow and succeed under his leadership.”
“We are excited to announce Michael LeBlanc as the new Lock Haven women’s tennis head coach,” Interim Director of Athletics Albert Jones said. “Coach LeBlanc brings valuable experience to this role leading the team and I wish him much success in the season ahead.”
LeBlanc joins the Bald Eagles after spending the last two years working as lead camp and clinic instructor at the Central PA Tennis Center in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. LeBlanc worked with athletes of all ages, while working side-by-side the tennis pros at the facility.
In addition, LeBlanc was also the assistant varsity girls tennis coach at Montgomery Area High School.
“I’m really excited to be joining the Lock Haven Athletics team,” LeBlanc added. “I’m grateful to Albert Jones and Lindsay Caprio for their help and guidance into this position, and for Karen Hooker at the Central PA Tennis Center for all her support.”
LeBlanc graduated from the University of Rochester in 2022 with a bachelor of arts degree in music.
