Lock Haven Police Department News Release June 3, 2024
Incidents:
Theft – Between May 17, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. and May 17, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., two bikes were stolen from the 600 block of E. Bald Eagle Street.
Hit and Run – On May 27, 2024, a concrete block wall was struck by a vehicle in the 900 block of Bellefonte Avenue. The vehicle that struck the concrete wall was not located.
Offenses Charged:
Michelle Akimov, 41, Howard, was arrested for DUI. On April 16, 2024, at 8:39 p.m., officers received a call about a disorderly vehicle that had struck a curb. When the officers arrived, they found that Akimov was intoxicated.
A 15-year-old male from Lock Haven was arrested for Receiving Stolen Property, Driving without a license, and driving through a stop sign. On April 28, 2024, at 7:53 p.m., officers observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Race Street and E. Main Street. Officers stopped the vehicle and found that a 15-year-old male was operating it. Officers also discovered that the vehicle had been reported stolen to the Pennsylvania State Police.
Stacy Tennis, 35, Lock Haven, was arrested for Simple Assault and Harassment. On May 21, 2024, Tennis went to a victim’s residence in the 300 block of Logan Street, slapped the victim, and grabbed a necklace that was around the victim’s neck. Police report that Tennis then left the residence, returned a short time later, and pepper-sprayed the victim.
Aimee Styers, 56, Blanchard, was cited with an ordinance violation for having an open container of alcohol. On May 22, 2024, at 5:45 a.m., officers were at 360 E. Walnut Street, the Lucky 7 Travel Plaza, and saw a female asleep in a vehicle in the parking lot. When officers made contact with Styers there was an open can of “Mike’s” in the cup holder.
