Terroristic Threats
LOGANTON– ON June 1, 2024, a victim reported that he had received threatening Facebook messages from a known person. This investigation is currently ongoing.
Disorderly Conduct
BEECH CREEK– On May 30, 2024, at approximately 10:29 a.m., Sarah Kunes, 26, from Beech Creek, created a public inconvenience, annoyance, or alarm by placing an Apple Airtag on another individual’s vehicle and sending messages for no legitimate purpose.
Indecent Assault
CLINTON COUNTY– PSP Lamar is investigating a reported sexual assault on a female minor victim that took place on May 29, 2024. No further details were included in the report. This investigation is ongoing.
False Report/Statement to Law Enforcement
PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP– On May 28, 2024, PSP Lamar received a call about a stolen Nissan Frontier from 1130 Sixth Avenue in Pine Creek. The vehicle was tracked and located in Philadelphia, and after further investigation, it was determined that the incident was falsified. Criminal charges are pending.
Motor Vehicle Accident
GALLAGHER TOWNSHIP– A crash occurred on Hazard Road between Goldenrod Trail and Logging Road on May 27, 2024. According to the report, John Portisky, 65, from Williamsport, was traveling south on Hazard Road when he may have experienced a medical emergency that caused him to veer off the side of the roadway and strike a tree approximately 20 feet down an embankment. Portisky sustained suspected minor injuries, and the 2016 Subaru Crosstrek he was driving sustained disabling damage due to the crash.
