Record-Breaking Crowd at Lock Haven’s 10th Annual Flags of Honor Ceremony Raises Nearly $9,000 for Scholarships and Local Nonprofits

The Flags of Honor ceremony held Sunday in Triangle Park in downtown Lock Haven drew the largest crowd the event has ever seen. Flags of Honor is a project of the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven and is made possible by community members and businesses who sponsor flags and become corporate sponsors. A total of 158 flags were sponsored this year in memory of, and in honor of, veterans, troops, first-responders, and loved ones. This is Flags of Honor’s 10th annual year, and the community support was so great that a record amount was raised — close to $9,000. Funds raised will go to scholarships and local nonprofits.
