PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP – On May 19, 2024, PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Woodward Avenue for a harassment incident at 8:42 p.m. No further details were included in the police report, and the investigation is ongoing.
Found Property
AVIS – PSP Lamar responded to East Central Avenue on May 19, 2024, at 2:43 p.m. regarding property that had been found. The owner of the property was notified and it was returned to them.

GREENE TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar Troopers responded to East Valley Road on May 19, 2024, at 6:58 p.m. for an alleged trespassing incident involving a 2009 Mazda. This investigation is ongoing.
Harassment w/Physical Contact
LAMAR TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar responded to Long Run Road on May 19, 2024, at 11:44 p.m., for an incident involving a physical altercation that had occurred. A 53-year-old male from Mill Hall was arrested due to the incident and appropriate charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.
Mental Health Act
SOUTH RENOVO BORO – PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Clinton Avenue on May 18, 2024, at 12:19 a.m. for a warrant service. No further information was provided in the police report.
Theft of Items from Motor Vehicle
PORTER TOWNSHIP – Between May 17, 2024, and May 18, 2024, unknown individuals (s) broke into two locked vehicles overnight while parked at the Lamar Hampton Inn Hotel located on Hospitality Lane. The vehicles that were broken into are identified as a 2009 Dodge Chrysler RAM 1500 and a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. Luggage, food items, tools, and other valuables were stolen from the locked vehicles. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Lamar at 570-726-6000.
Motor Vehicle Accident
LAMAR TOWNSHIP – On May 17, 2024, a crash occurred on the shoulder of SR 220 South, east of the on-ramp to I-80 West. Joshua Allert, 26, from South Ozone Park, NY, was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control of his vehicle. Allert failed to stop at a stop sign and crossed over both the north and south lanes of SR 220 before impacting a guide rail. After impact, the vehicle came to a final rest. The impact caused disabling damage to the front of Allert’s vehicle, but no injuries were reported.
Motor Vehicle Accident
CASTANEA – On May 17, 2024, a crash occurred approximately half a mile south of the Lock Haven Exit when Russell Henley, 62, of Montoursville, was driving south on SR 220 in the left passing lane. After jumping over the center divider from SR 220 North, a deer entered the roadway. Unable to avoid the deer, Henley struck it with the front end of his vehicle. The vehicle came to a controlled stop on the right-hand berm of the roadway, and no injuries were reported due to the crash.

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP – On May 17, 2024, a crash occurred on SR 664 (Coudersport Pike), north of German Road. Brian Wegener, 44, from Lock Haven, lost control of his vehicle, exited his travel lane, continued through a residential yard, and impacted a tree on the west side of the roadway. After impact, the vehicle came to a final rest facing south. The impact caused disabling damage to the front of the vehicle, but no injuries were reported.
Harassment w/Physical Contact
COLEBROOK TOWNSHIP – On May 16, 2024, PSP Lamar investigated a report of harassment in the area of Allysum Lane in Colebrook Township. The victim was a 92-year-old female from Farrandsville, PA. No further information was provided in the report of the incident.
PFA Violation
MILL HALL – On May 16, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Ben Avenue for a report of a PFA violation. Through investigation, it was determined that a 32-year-old male from Lock Haven did violate a PFA by making in-person communication with a 31-year-old female victim. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.
Found Property
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – A suitcase was found at 63 Millbrook Plaza in Mill Hall on May 15, 2024, at approximately 6:00 p.m. Anyone missing a suitcase in the area of this location is asked to contact PSP Lamar at 570-726-6000.
Motor Vehicle Accident
LAMAR TOWNSHIP – On May 15, 2024, Jeffery Eck, 32, of Williamsport, was stopped on Nittany Valley Drive (SR 64), waiting to turn left onto Mogish Lane. Emily McAlister, 22, of Lock Haven, was traveling north on Nittany Valley Drive near its intersection with Cedar Heights. When McAlister came upon Eck’s stopped vehicle, she was unable to slow down and struck the rear driver’s side of Eck’s vehicle. After colliding with Eck, McAlister rotated around ninety degrees before stopping on the center double yellow line facing east. Eck drove north for about ten yards after being struck before coming to a controlled stop on the east shoulder.
Drug Possession
PORTER TOWNSHIP – On May 14, 2024, a 2017 BMW X5/X5M was stopped on I-80 West after multiple traffic violations were observed. According to the police report, numerous indicators of criminal activity were observed. Consent to search the vehicle was requested and denied, but a search warrant was obtained, and a large amount of suspected “khat,” a plant-based controlled substance, was seized. The driver is identified as a 45-year-old male from Oak Lawn, IL. This investigation is ongoing.
Commercial Vehicle Crash
LAMAR TOWNSHIP – On May 14, 2024, a crash occurred on I-80 East at mile marker 175.6. Randy Marshall, 28, from Lakewood, WA, was driving a passenger van and traveling at 70 mph when he rear-ended Jean Bizimania, 54, from Lackawanna, NY, who was driving a commercial vehicle and traveling 40 mph. Bizimania had the 4-way flashers illuminated and was traveling up an inclined portion of the roadway. Marshall was partially affected by the bright sunlight glare on his windshield leading up to the crash. Both vehicles were disabled as a result of the crash, and Marshall reportedly sustained minor injuries.
PFA Violation
RENOVO – On May 14, 2024, at 4:12 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Saint Clair Avenue to investigate an alleged PFA violation. Through their investigation, it was determined that a known juvenile female violated a PFA against another known juvenile female via social media. This investigation continues.
Commercial Vehicle Crash in Work Zone
GREENE TOWNSHIP – On May 13, 2024, a crash occurred on I-80 East near mile marker 190.2. The crash occurred as Otgonbaatar Demberel, 50, Male, from Deerfield, IL, was traveling in the right lane and approached a right-hand curve in the roadway. Demberel failed to negotiate the right-hand curve and traveled into the left-side passing lane, partially leaving the shoulder of the roadway. He then made a hard right to attempt to regain control of his vehicle, re-entered the roadway, and overturned onto the driver’s side of the vehicle before coming to a final rest approximately 75 yards from where he initially left the road. The vehicle blocked both lanes of travel on I-80 East, and Demberel sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of the crash. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Bresslers Towing.

BEECH CREEK – On May 11, 2024, a 17-year-old female from Lock Haven was traveling south on Halls Run Road in Beech Creek Township when a deer entered the roadway. The vehicle struck the deer and sustained disabling damage. The driver and her passenger in the vehicle were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, and no injuries were reported.
Theft of Vehicle Parts
STEWARDSON TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar received a report of a stolen license plate on May 5, 2024. The involved vehicle is identified as a 2006 Ford Explorer. This investigation is ongoing.
