Harassment w/Physical Contact

RENOVO – A domestic incident involving a 29-year-old female from Renovo and a 27-year-old female from New Columbia, PA, occurred on 6th Street in Renovo on February 27, 2024, according to police reports. Charges are pending a court date for the incident.

Criminal Trespass

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – An incident of defiant criminal trespassing took place on February 26, 2024, on Hogan Boulevard in Mill Hall. This case remains open pending further police investigation.

Vehicle Crash

RENOVO – A crash occurred on the Renovo Road, SR 120, just west of its intersection with North Holland Lane on February 26, 2024. Richard Riccardo, 65, of Lock Haven, was traveling eastbound on SR 120 when his vehicle struck a boulder in the middle of the travel lane. The vehicle then traveled off the south side of the highway and rolled over, entrapping Riccardo in the vehicle. Upon arrival, police observed the vehicle at a final rest on its roof off the southbound side of the highway. No further information about injuries sustained as a result of the crash has been provided in police reports.

DUI

FLEMINGTON – At 2:14 a.m. on February 25, 2024, PSP Lamar initiated a traffic stop on the 500 Block of High Street. Upon investigation, it was determined that Ryan Ellis, 28, of State College, was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Chemical testing was consented, and criminal charges are pending toxicology results.

Vehicle Crash

GREENE TOWNSHIP – A crash involving a commercial vehicle, a Peterbilt 579, occurred on I-80 West near mile marker 194.4. The driver, Donte Barner, 47, of Paterson, NJ, was negotiating a left turn on the roadway but continued straight, striking a road sign off the right side of the road on February 25, 2024. Following the initial impact, Barner continued to travel along the embankment off the side of the roadway before overturning onto the vehicle’s passenger side. The vehicle came to a final rest facing west, and Barner sustained suspected minor injury.

DUI

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar initiated a traffic stop on Eagle Valley Road at its intersection with Laurel Run Road for traffic violations on February 25, 2024, at 3:46 a.m. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver, Alyson Masden, 24, of Howard, was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Chemical testing was consented, and criminal charges are pending toxicology.

Drug Sale/Possession with Intent to Deliver

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – On February 24, 2024, PSP Lamar initiated a traffic stop on Hogan Boulevard for a vehicle with an expired registration driven by a 47-year-old female from Beech Creek. During the investigation, police reported that they observed numerous indicators of criminal activity. The vehicle was impounded for further investigation, and a search warrant was granted for the vehicle and its contents. The search revealed illegal controlled substances, money related to the sales of controlled substances, and paraphernalia.

Vehicle Crash

CRAWFORD TOWNSHIP – On February 23, 2024, PSP Lamar responded to a crash that occurred on Pine Station Road. The crash occurred when Gerald Lacy, 74, of McElhattan, was attempting to negotiate a left-hand curve and failed to maintain traction. The vehicle continued its momentum across the northbound lane and off the left side of the road before traveling up an embankment and rolling onto its passenger side. Lacy and a passenger were able to exit the vehicle through the sunroof and then hitched a ride with a passerby. When they were able to obtain cell phone service, they called police to report the crash. The nearby Pine Loganton Road was closed for approximately 40 minutes, but traffic was not detoured.

Hindering Apprehension

LOCK HAVEN – On February 23, 2024, felony warrants were served to a 32-year-old individual from Lock Haven at 410 Linden Street, according to police reports. The individual was taken into custody, and additional charges were prepared for the resident of this address. Charges are pending a court date.

Theft/Disposition of Funds

GREENE TOWNSHIP – PSP Lamar was dispatched to Nicholas Farms in Loganton on February 21, 2024, for a report of a washed check valued at $29,347.00 from Nicholas Farms to Vasallo Inc. According to police reports, the check was successfully negotiated by an unknown suspect. This investigation is ongoing.

Theft by Deception/Identity Theft

BEECH CREEK – PSP Lamar is investigating an incident of identity theft that occurred on Laurel Run Road to a 53-year-old male of Beech Creek on February 9, 2024. This investigation is ongoing.

Cruelty to Animals

CASTANEA – PSP Lamar responded to 843 Lower Creek Road in Castanea for a report of what the complainant believed was a skinned domesticated dog on December 28, 2023. Upon police investigation, the carcass was viewed, and signs of a wild K-9 were observed. The Pennsylvania Game Commission was subsequently summoned to the scene, and they determined that the carcass was that of a red fox. This investigation is closed.

Vehicle Crash

CRAWFORD TOWNSHIP – A crash occurred on Rauchtown Road south of Knarr Road on December 26, 2023 involving a vehicle and a horse and buggy. Driver David Allison, 19, of Mill Hall, reportedly did not see the horsedrawn vehicle in front of him and subsequently struck the buggy at its six o’clock position, according to police reports. The horsedrawn vehicle sustained disabling damage, and Allison’s vehicle sustained minor damage but was able to be driven from the scene. The front passenger and a backseat passenger of the horse-drawn vehicle sustained suspected injuries as a result of the crash.

Theft/Retail Shoplifting

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – On December 23, 2023, PSP Lamar was contacted by Mill Hall Walmart for a reported retail theft. Upon arrival at the scene, police found that Angel Johnson, 46, of Glasgow, PA, had stolen $141.73 worth of merchandise by under-scanning nine items, including a Vtech Learning Apple ($19.44), Coco Melon Submarine ($12.88), purse ($26.94), teething gel ($10.77), Olly Gummy Worm Vitamins ($18.88), bubble wand shark ($7.98), Avia high waist leggings ($15.98), and Avia Performance leggings ($15.98). Appropriate charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

Trespass

LEIDY TOWNSHIP – On December 18, 2024, PSP Lamar took a report of an incident involving trespassing at Brunner Branch Lane. The investigation has since been closed.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office arrested Barry Joseph Kitchen, 41, on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, for a bench warrant that was issued on January 2, 2024.
