KCSD New Superintendent Dr. Francis Redmon Sworn In
MILL HALL-KCSD new Superintendent Dr. Francis Redmon officially took over Thursday. Dr. Francis (Frank) Redmon begins his service to the students, staff, and community as the Superintendent of the Keystone Central School District in Central Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to Pennsylvania, Dr. Redmon served as the Superintendent of the Quilcene School District on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. He has also served as the Superintendent of Ashgabat International School in Turkmenistan, a principal and assistant principal of middle and high schools in urban and suburban schools in WA, and a middle and high school teacher of science and mathematics in Wisconsin, Washington, and Minsk, Belarus. In addition to his teaching roles, he was also the theatrical director and sometime soccer coach.
Dr. Redmon earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Education from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI, a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Washington, Seattle, a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
