Central Mountain runs record to 12-6 with 68-40 win over rival Shore

JERSEY SHORE- It was business as usual for the Central Mountain Wildcats at Jersey Shore on Tuesday night. Brady Myers, Hunter Hoy and Caleb Mahoney would hit double figures and the visiting Wildcats would lock up win number 12 on the season by dispatching the Bulldogs 68-40 in PHAC-1 play.

CM took command early by a count of 16-5 and would cruise with ease from there. Jersey Shore did put up a last-ditch effort in the second quarter with a 12-11 edge, but the Wildcats used a 21-9 third quarter to build up a 48-26 lead heading into the fourth and final quarter.

A 19-14 final frame from Central Mountain would set the final score.

11 different Wildcats would find their way into the scoring column, led by Hoy and Myers with 12 each. Mahoney would net 10 points.

Shore was led by Caden Jolin’s 8 points. Amir Barbee and Ben Dalton each added 7 points in the loss. 

Jersey Shore dropped to 2-14 on the season. Central Mountain improved to 12-6 on the season and will next meet Selinsgrove at home on Friday night.
