Wildcats drop road game to Seals 62-51

SELINSGROVE- Central Mountain was looking for their tenth win on Wednesday night and their opposition would prove to be a tough one. Selinsgrove , the current top team in the District 4/6 5A subregional would prove to be up to task in keeping the Wildcats from gaining ground on them.

The Seals raced out to a 16-8 lead after one quarter and their 15-6 second quarter spurt built a solid 31-14 lead at the break.

Central Mountain would battle back with a 21-17 third quarter run to close to within 13 at 48-35.
The Wildcats closed out the final quarter with a 16-14 advantage, but despite outscoring the Seals 37-31 the first half hole was too much to crawl out of.

Hunter Hoy led Central Mountain with 12 points. Caleb Mahoney chipped in 11 points and Xavier Persun scored 8 in the loss.

Naugle led Selinsgrove with 26 points for the now 9-4 Seals.

Central Mountain dropped to 9-4 and will next be in action on Friday when they travel to Shikellamy.
