Wildcats fight off Black Panthers 62-50 to remain perfect in PHAC

MILL HALL- Central Mountain may have gotten a little more than they bargained for against Milton on Friday night. Nobody bothered to let the Black Panthers know they were the underdogs Friday night in Mill Hall.
Milton entered the contest at 2-6, while Central Mountain entered the night at 7-2. CM controlled the game throughout, but Milton would never give up.
Trailing 29-16 at halftime, Milton would turn things up a notch on the Wildcats by outscoring the hosts 34-33 in the second half of play.
Xavier Persun led the Wildcats with a 14-point night, while Hunter Hoy would score 12 for the now 8-2 Central Mountain Wildcats. Milton fell to 2-7 on the season.
Hunter led the Black Panthers with 19 and Scott chipped in 13 in the loss.
Central Mountain will be back in action on January 10 when they travel to Shamokin.
Central Mountain won the JV contest 61-54. Darious Shade led the Wildcats with 18 points and Noah Wells added 16.
