Keystone Central Foundation’s Heritage Homecoming set for Central Mountain Friday and Bucktail Oct. 13

Volunteers at last year’s Bucktail Heritage Homecoming

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – The Keystone Central Foundation is hosting their third annual Heritage Homecoming Friday, Oct. 6 at Central Mountain’s football game against Selinsgrove and Friday, Oct. 13 at Bucktail’s home game against Otto-Eldred as Flaming Foliage weekend kicks-off.

The goal of Heritage Homecoming is to honor the traditions of the school district’s old high schools, including Lock Haven, Bald Eagle-Nittany and Sugar Valley with alumni and current students from Central Mountain and Bucktail. It’s also an opportunity for alumni to reconnect and reminisce.

Spectators are encouraged to wear their high school jerseys, lettermen jackets, shirts, hats or even just their old KCSD school colors.

The Central Mountain game will feature an “Alumni Corner” between the donor wall and the Ron & Jo Ann Bowes Fieldhouse. Photo props, free kids’ games, and a small display of memorabilia from the former high schools (weather permitting) will be available. The event will also feature a halftime performance from the alumni majorettes, The Matriarchs. And former football players will serve as honorary captains for the game.

At Bucktail, Heritage Homecoming is combined with Bucktail’s homecoming festivities and the start of Flaming Foliage weekend. The Alumni Corner inside the main gate will feature free kids’ games and photo props.

Members in the Keystone Central Foundation Alumni & Friends Association will receive a free game ticket by completing the form on the Foundation website at www.kcfoundation.com.
