Mill Hall Area Woman Charged with Theft of Cub Scout Funds

MILL HALL – Lamar state police have charged a Mill Hall area woman with stealing more than $25,000 from Woolrich Cub Scout Pack 66.

Police reported on Thursday that charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property have been filed at the magisterial court level against Stefanie Darleen Fink, 33, from 79 Slopeys Lane, Bald Eagle Township.

State police said Fink had been the overseer for the Woolrich Cub Scout Pack. Police said they were informed of a theft of funds and their investigation determined that over a two year period, from January of 2017 to January of this year that Fink had allegedly stolen $25,291.52, they said the funds were used for personal expenses.

Other information released by Lamar state police on Thursday included a charge of indecent exposure and public intoxication, the charges leveled against a Williamsport woman multiple witnesses said they saw walking naked overnight earlier this week along Interstate 80 in Greene Township.

The incident, police said, occurred Monday, July 29 at 2:42 a.m. Police said they received multiple calls and responded and located the female near the 194 mile marker. She was taken into custody without incident, police said, and taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of a knee injury. The female was suspected and later admitted, police said, to being under the influence of the designer drug known as bath salts.

The woman was later released from the hospital and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility on charges of indecent exposure, open lewdness, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. They identified her as Marissa Floyd, 26, from Williamsport
