American Legion Raises Funds for Homeless Vets

PITTSBURGH – Raising almost $100,000, there are many great supporters in Pennsylvania for our Homeless heroes and their families! There are currently seven homes in Pennsylvania. Four are located in Moon Twp. (Pittsburgh Area), one in Ephrata, one in Harrisburg and one in Philadelphia.

Sandi Miller, Coburn, gave a donation of $500 on behalf of the Centre, Lycoming, Clinton Council of the American Legion Auxiliary of the Department of Pennsylvania; Carol Wert Walker, Lock Haven, presented a donation of $1000 on behalf of the members of William Marshall Crawford American Legion Auxiliary Unit # 131 of Lock Haven ; Mary Ellen Switzer, Howard, Department of Pennsylvania American Legion Auxiliary President gave a personal donation of $1000 and Wayne and Carol Walker, Lock Haven, gave a personal donation of $1000.
