County Anniversary Book Completed

Distribution Party Slated for Dec. 3

CC175_logoLOCK HAVEN — Clinton County is having an anniversary party and you’re invited.

The occasion is the final event in the county’s 175th birthday celebration. The party will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3 at the Elks Club in Lock Haven and attendees can pick up their anniversary celebration book.

The county has had 300 of the books printed; they include more than 500 pictures of anniversary events, all taken by local photographer Bill Crowell.

The commissioners recently said some 100 copies of the book remain available for purchase. Those who pre-ordered may obtain their copy at the Elks event or new purchasers may attend to buy the book, the publication cost $29.95.

The Dec. 3 event will begin at 6 p.m. and there is no admission charge. Students from the Keystone Central Culinary Arts Department will cater the event and background music will be provided by Steve Garner.
