Police Standoff Continues Behind Waterville Hotel

WATERVILLE – Details remain sketchy but at noontime Monday a standoff between a person and state police continues to the rear of the Waterville Hotel along Route 44 near Pine Creek.

Multiple state troopers from Montoursville and Lamar responded Monday morning following reports of a standoff and hostage situation. There was also a report of an emergency medical helicopter call to the Jersey Shore Airport located downstream from the incident site.
