Little Crickets Thump Mifflinburg

BEECH CREEK – The Beech Creek Junior American Legion baseball team is off and running in the new season.

The Junior Legion squad opened its home season Thursday with a 15-0 three inning win over Mifflinburg.

Landon Breon and Alex Garbrick combined for a no-hitter.

The Junior Crickets had nine hits, led by Brandon Miller with a triple and a double and both Cole Reeder and Connor Bauman with a single and double each.

Next up is a home game, Saturday at 11 a.m., with Lewisburg.
