Russell M. Kauhl, Sr. – Obituary
Russell M. Kauhl, Sr., 59, of Renovo died at home on Tuesday, Feb., 20, 2018.
He was born November 15, 1958 in Buffalo, NY a son of the late Maynard and Shirley (Brotherton) Kauhl.
Russell was married on Oct., 18, 2012 to the former Angel M. Lullo. They celebrated 5 years of marriage together.
He was a jack of all trades he could fix anything specializing in construction, auto repair and plumbing. He loved to fish and enjoyed spending time at his family cabin in Leidy Twp.
Russell was recently ordained as a certified pastor. He served in the National Guard for 6 years.
Surviving are his loving wife; three sons; Dallas Kauhl at home, Russell Kauhl, Jr. of Buffalo and Justin Kauhl also one daughter; Sarah Kauhl both of Williamsville, NY.
Six step-children also survive; Nate, Jess, Miranda, Amanda, Michael and Kile.
Also, an expected grandchild in September.
Two brothers; Harry Kauhl and Ed Kauhl both of Renovo.
Three sisters; Kathy Santoro of Blasdell, NY, Chris Groff of Niagara Falls, NY and Penny Nelson of Lancaster, NY.
He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Russell was preceded in death by a brother Maynard Kauhl, Jr. in 2006.
A public viewing will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo.
Interment will be private.
