Hollidaysburg Rolls over CM, 61-14
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – It was another rough night for the Lady Wildcat basketball squad as they were overwhelmed by Hollidaysburg 61-14 in a non conference contest. With the loss, Central Mountain falls to 0-13 on the season.
The Lady Golden Tigers jumped out to a 22-5 lead by the end of the first quarter and rolled rot a 41-10 advantage at the half. Hollidaysburg put up 16 more points in the third quarter to hols a 57-14 lead with 8 minutes remaining. The visitors called off the dogs in the fourth quarter under the Mercy Rule, outscoring CM 4-0 for the 61-14 final.
Taylor Fletcher led the way offensively for the Lady ‘Cats with 4 points while Madyson Smith and Katie Burrows each had 3 points. Madison Courter had 2 points and Morgan Wetzel score 1.
Central Mountain now travels to Selinsgrove on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018 for their next PHAC contest.
