Brush Signs with Pitt-Greensburg

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain Lady Wildcat softball has yet another player accepted to the college ranks, this time it is senior pitcher, Caitlyn Brush will be attending the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg to pursue a degree in pre-physical therapy.

Brush has been a a starter since her freshman season with Central Mountain playing in 55 varsity games in three seasons. Brush has been the starting pitcher in 25 games with a record of 19-7 overall in the circle for the Lady ‘Cats. Brush has a career 2.32 ERA along with 59 strikeouts in 145 innings of work and an astounding .982 fielding percentage.

Brush is also a solid contributor for Central Mountain on offense with a .320 career batting average that includes 47 hits and 45 RBI. Brush has 17 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run to her credit with her senior season remaining with the Lady Wildcats.

Pitt-Greensburg is a NCAA Division III school in southwestern Pa. and competes in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.
