SOUTH RENOVO- Christmas arrived a little early Friday morning at Bucktail Medical Center. Dominion Energy donated a truck to the Center. A few weeks ago Dominion employees volunteered at Bucktail giving the facility a much needed facelift. During that time a few of the Dominion employees had the opportunity to ride in the 1992 Chevy pickup that BMC has been using for some time. After experiencing the shape of the medical center’s current truck, the employees decided BMC was overdue for a newer truck. Dominion Energy has a program that will sometimes donate used vehicles instead of trading them in. So, in less than two weeks, after researching the possibility of BMC being eligible for the donation, Dominion presented the South Renovo facility a “new” used truck. The donated truck is a 2008 GMC 2500, heavy duty pickup with about 60,000 miles on it and it includes a snow plow, tool box and cargo gate. Bucktail Administrator Tim Reeves said, “It will last us a very long time,” adding, “It is nice to have this level of community support and Dominion is always one of our best supporters.”
