New Fitness Center Planned for Walnut Street in Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN – The Clinton County Commissioners Thursday gave their okay for a $100,000 loan for a proposed new fitness center in the old Skate Haven site on E. Walnut St. in Lock Haven.

The money will come from the county’s revolving loan fund and is part of a $700,000 project, according to Mike Flanagan, Clinton County Economic Partnership CEO who provided information on the Full Body Health and Fitness proposal at the Thursday meeting.

He said Full Body Health and Fitness and LAH Properties, LLC developers are Brian and Lori Hoy. Plans call for a fitness equipment area, two fitness class spaces, men’s and women’s restrooms and a juice bar. It is proposed as a seven day a week operation from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The project will provide two full-time jobs and three part-time positions.
