Renovo Rotary Club Honors Students

RENOVO – On April 21 the Renovo Rotary Club presented Certificates of Achievements to two 11th Grade Students at Bucktail Area High School.

Students of the Month were Brandy Pedokus and Ryan Fantaskey.

Brandy, a junior at BAHS is involved in the Art Club, Environmental Club, Interact Club and has been a member of the National Honor Society since her Sophomore year.In 2013 she enjoyed being a part of the Bucktail Youth Leadership Program.Brandy likes to hunt, fish and babysit her nieces and nephew.

Ryan, also a junior at BAHS is a member of the Varsity Basketball Team.His favorite classes are Spanish, Anatomy and Physiology.His future plans are to attend college and become a physician’s assistant.

Both students participated in a question and answer session from fellow Rotarians.

The Renovo Rotary Club honors students in grade nine through 12. Bucktail staff chooses these students.The club also presents an award to a senior member of the Bucktail Rotary Interact Club.At the Renovo Elementary School the club purchases dictionaries annually to the 4th grade students.A spelling bee is also done at the Elementary School at the end of the school term.
