Mothers’ Day Tea at Heisey

Remember the ladies – remember the deadline!

LOCK HAVEN – Remember when ladies went to visit friends and have tea, cookies and conversation? Here is your chance to recreate the days when fancy hats and white gloves were part of a woman’s social scene. The Clinton County Historical Society will host tea, cookies and conversation at the Heisey Museum on Mothers’ Day, Sunday, May 11 from 2-4 p.m.

So put on your hat and gloves and come share with us memories of your mother, grandmother, sister or aunt to celebrate Mothers’ Day. Admission is free, but reservations are required by May 6. Call 570-748-7254 – leave a message if we do not answer.

The Heisey Museum is located at 326 E Water St, Lock Haven and is open 10-3 Wednesdays and Thursdays, the second Sunday of each month and at other times by prior arrangement.
