Smith Commits to Penn College Softball

cm-softballBALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain senior, Skylar Smith has chosen to attend the Pennsylvania College of Technology where she will pursue a degree in nursing. Smith also will further her athletic career on the Penn College women’s softball team.

Smith has been a two-year starter for the Lady Wildcats softball program and will called upon in 2018 to anchor the defense from the shortstop position once more. In three varsity seasons for Central Mountain, including limited action her freshman season when she was recovering from an injury, Smith has played in 43 games has batted .345 with 40 hits including 12 doubles and 31 RBI. Defensively Smith has a .895 fielding percentage including 6 double plays.
